JLL is seeking a Mechatronics and Robotics Apprentice in Shakopee, MN, to assist in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechatronic systems within a Fulfillment/Distribution Center. Job Summary

  • As a Mechatronics Junior Technician Apprentice, you will learn to perform the job of Mechatronics Junior Technician and install, alter, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic, mechanical, computer, control, and robotics/automation equipment, systems, and components.
  • The role involves learning to work with material transfer conveyors, PLCs, and robotic systems under the guidance of experienced technical advisors and engineers.

Key Requirements

  • 18 years old or older with a high school diploma or GED
  • Meet minimum qualifying score on Mechanical Aptitude Test
  • Ability to travel for training
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • 1+ years of experience in preventive/predictive maintenance
  • 1+ years of experience with mechanical and/or electrical components
  • 1+ years of experience with compressors and pneumatics
