Zendesk is seeking a Staff Data Platform Engineer with a strong DevOps focus to join their growing Platform engineering team in Karnataka or Maharashtra, India. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in data infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud technologies, and will be integral in developing and maintaining Zendesk's data platform

Job Summary

  • Lead architecture and roadmap definition for the end-to-end data platform across ingestion, transformation, storage, and governance.
  • Design and deliver secure, highly-available data services and pipelines handling large-scale, mission-critical workloads.
  • Raise the engineering bar by defining standards for data modeling, testing, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and code quality.
