Job Summary
Perform skilled work in an electrical generation, mechanical and electrical utility, and chilling station environment.
Assists and is trained to install, maintain, and repair plant equipment and utility systems, including welding in accordance with ASME and AWS standards.
Required to carry UT-provided cell phone during work hours and on call hours and attend job-related training.

Work in utility tunnel distribution systems
Operate cranes, forklifts, and personnel lifts
Work in confined spaces

Key Requirements
High school graduation or GED
Mechanically Inclined individual
Class "C" operator's driver's license
More than three years of related skilled level experience (preferred)
Journey level experience in industrial insulation (preferred)
Welding certification (preferred)
Experience as a machinist (preferred)
Experience in a university plant or utility environment (preferred)
Experience in using a work order system (preferred)
