Must-have
Patient care according to state regulations
Safe medication administration under supervision
Monitor reading and rapid intervention skills
Point-of-care testing competency maintenance
Physical ability to lift 35 pounds

Six months pre-hospital paramedic experience
Strong critical thinking and concentration
Ability to respond quickly to unit changes
Key Requirements
OEMS approved Paramedic Training Program completion
Current applicable state Paramedic Certification required
BLS certification required on hire date
ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months
Affiliation with an EMS agency for National Registry
