Job Summary

  • The mission of the NC Department of Transportation is to connect people, products and places safely and efficiently with customer focus, accountability, and environmental sensitivity to enhance the economy and vitality of North Carolina.
  • The chosen applicant will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of Electrical, Electronic, and Computerized Traffic Control Systems in Craven, Carteret, and Jones Counties, but also throughout the Division 2 area.
  • The employee must be able to lift up to 80 pounds, shoulder high and use and operate an aerial bucket truck up to 60 feet in height without accommodations.
