Job Summary

  • Responds to service calls to evaluate, diagnose, and perform repair and planned maintenance (PM) on customers' basic biomedical equipment, driving customer satisfaction through service excellence.
  • Under supervision, evaluates basic customer biomedical equipment issues, implements appropriate repairs, and performs PM and safety/environmental inspections, potentially assisting more experienced technicians.
  • Enhances and maintains technical knowledge of current standards, codes, and procedures regarding safe and effective use of medical equipment through formal instruction and utilizes resources for problem-solving.
