Solenis is seeking a Key Account Manager for its Sherbrooke location to manage and develop customer accounts, primarily focusing on creating value and identifying new product opportunities. The ideal candidate will have industry experience, strong relationship management skills, and a technical background, particularly in the pulp and paper sector

Job Summary

  • Manages an assigned account, or group of accounts, with the primary responsibility to create value for the assigned customers through the technical service they provide; and identifying new product opportunities and selling to existing customers.
  • Review treatment programs and processes within the territory accounts ensuring effective applications through routine testing and monitoring resulting in customer satisfaction and business retention.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Science or other technical degree) or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years industry experience (pulp and paper preferred; tissue an asset)
  • Documented results solving complex technical problems
  • Project management of complex projects
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Ability to work with autonomy and direct/coach indirect reports
  • Experience working with multi levels in an organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using a consultive sales process
