Job Summary

  • Responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of vessel or craft and industrial plant equipment cognizant to A-06 Port Operations and all related marine carpentry works.
  • Performs fabrication using hand or powered tools and other industrial plant equipment in the Carpentry shop, and repairs fiberglass structures and insulating materials.
  • Performs assigned scheduled maintenance requirements on boats, crafts and IPEs, compliant with US Navy 3M System.
