Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Current Medical Assistant certification required
Two years of clinical practice experience
Venipuncture and specimen collection skills
Point of Care Testing (POCT) proficiency
Medication reconciliation and administration
Nice-to-have
Role champion or committee participation
Training and onboarding assistance capability
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Experience with electronic medical records
Safety coach or super-user status
Key Requirements
Current CMA, CCMA, NCMA, RMA, or equivalent certification
Two years of experience in a clinical practice setting
AHA BLS certification required
Successful completion of competency assessment
PEARS certification may be required within one year
