Job Summary
Provides Armed Safety and Security services to assigned areas including, providing a heightened sense of awareness and response to events or conditions that may endanger patient, visitor, and staff safety.
Augments law enforcement response to potentially dangerous situations in the hospital or on hospital grounds and responds safely, efficiently, and equitably to all related matters.
Full time, Benefits Eligible, with a 2nd shift - 10 hour shift schedule, and required weekends.

Key Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Ohio driver’s license
OPOTA 20hour Firearms Course Qualification
IAHSS Basic and Advanced certifications
One year of experience as an NCH Protective Services Officer
