Job Summary

  • Provides Armed Safety and Security services to assigned areas including, providing a heightened sense of awareness and response to events or conditions that may endanger patient, visitor, and staff safety.
  • Augments law enforcement response to potentially dangerous situations in the hospital or on hospital grounds and responds safely, efficiently, and equitably to all related matters.
  • Full time, Benefits Eligible, with a 2nd shift - 10 hour shift schedule, and required weekends.

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Ohio driver’s license
  • OPOTA 20hour Firearms Course Qualification
  • IAHSS Basic and Advanced certifications
  • One year of experience as an NCH Protective Services Officer
  • Experience working in high stress situations
