Job Summary

• The Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) is responsible for the day-to-day activities in the rehabilitation department of an assigned facility or facilities, including direct and indirect services, supervision of therapy personnel, and implementation of new programs.
• Essential duties include directly supervising and guiding all therapy personnel, performing daily scheduling, providing direct care, assuring resident rehabilitation needs are met, and ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards.
• The role requires implementing new treatment programs, monitoring outcomes, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, approving timecards, providing evaluation input, and attending facility and company meetings.
