Job Summary

  • Accurately, consistently, and efficiently perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical activities required for laboratory testing in Coagulation, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, and/or the Transfusion Service per standard operating procedures for pediatric/adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in compliance with laboratory, hospital, state, federal, and regulatory agency policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Receive and review requests and specimens for appropriateness and acceptability per policy for the tests/procedures requested.
  • Perform job functions in a manner that promotes the safety and health of Milton Hospital co-workers, patients, and visitors in Milton Hospital.
