Key Requirements

  • Previous experience as a midwife
  • Birthing Suite Level 2 or above
  • RANZCOG practitioner status
  • Competence to perform IV Cannulation
  • Competence to perform Balloon Catheter insertion
  • Competence to perform perineal suturing
  • Competence to perform waterbirth
  • Current Police Record Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination
