Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of your job position is to maintain resident medical records and health information systems in accordance with current federal and state guidelines as well as in accordance with our facility’s established privacy policies and procedures.
  • You will assist in organizing, planning and directing the medical records department and ensure proper handling, indexing, and filing of medical records while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with privacy rules.
  • The role requires participation in mandatory training programs, reporting unsafe conditions, and performing secretarial duties for facility committees.

  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Physical ability to lift 25 pounds and move records
