The Accounting Manager is responsible for leading the College of Education and Health Professions (COEHP) centralized accounting team, determining appropriate workloads, monitoring the flow of Workday transactions, and overseeing the entry of state, grant, and foundation requisitions, travel claims, personal reimbursements, payment authorizations, budget amendments, etc

Job Summary

  • The Accounting Manager is responsible for leading the College of Education and Health Professions (COEHP) centralized accounting team, determining appropriate workloads, monitoring the flow of Workday transactions, and overseeing the entry of state, grant, and foundation requisitions, travel claims, personal reimbursements, payment authorizations, budget amendments, etc.
  • Key operational responsibilities include financial oversight, specialized billing & registrations, reporting, and training & development for accounting staff and departmental administrators.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or experience equivalency
  • At least four years of experience in fiscal operations
  • At least two years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Three or more years of experience supervising/managing a team preferred
  • Experience with Workday, Quickbooks, Smartsheets or other ERP financial systems preferred
