Job Summary

  • The role of the Director of Stores is to generate sales by providing exceptional service to all customers and to direct all activities required to achieve sales, service, merchandise presentation/visual excellence, human resources management, loss prevention, and expense control goals within the expectations consistent with the Design Within Reach mission.
  • You'll have opportunities to design, achieve and build relationships every day as you drive sales, achieve store and regional goals, and ensure adherence to merchandise standards.
  • Provide leadership, training, and direction throughout the Region by recruiting, selecting, developing, motivating, and retaining a successful Store and management team.
