Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in horticulture, agronomy or related field
  • Two years landscape construction or maintenance experience
  • Valid Maryland Class C driver’s license with fewer than 6 points
  • Maryland Certified Pesticide Applicator licenses Categories 3A, 3C, and 6
  • Maryland Certified Professional Fertilizer Applicator
  • Medical certification to apply pesticides
  • Certification by Maryland Nurseryman's Association may be required
