Job Summary

• The Broadcast Specialist/Technician Operator at WPXI will be primarily responsible for monitoring the on-air signal (video and audio), ensuring overall quality of scheduled elements and confirming the on-air accuracy of the Traffic log against the automation playlist.
• Recover on-air signal accurately in the shortest time possible and manually operate on-air equipment with the same reliability of automation systems during high-pressure situations.
• The company's businesses encompass 14 high-quality, market-leading television brands in 9 markets; 45 top-performing radio stations delivering multiple genres of content in 9 markets; and numerous streaming and digital platforms.
