Job Summary
Under the direction of a radiologist, the Ultrasonographer performs diagnostic medical ultrasound examinations accurately, independently, and efficiently.
Prepares patient and independently performs Ultrasound exams & procedures, including abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, and intra-operative.
Produces technically acceptable Ultrasound exams in accordance with departmental procedures, selects proper technical factors, reviews and evaluates Ultrasound images to determine that they are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes and assesses need for further views.
