Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Three years progressively responsible security experience
  • Valid driver's license eligible for company insurance
  • Ability to transport and house K-9 partner at residence
  • Completion of Banner Health approved K-9 training program
  • National Police Canine Association Handler Certification

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Prior Law Enforcement or Military K-9 officer background
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends
  • Leadership experience as Lead Officer or OIC

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card required at time of hire
  • Complete NPCA Handler Certification within 12 months
  • Demonstrate physical requirements of the position
  • Sign K9 Conditions Agreement and Promissory Note
