Job Summary

• Develops comprehensive social histories and psychosocial assessments of students and families, involving them in care planning and providing counseling under supervision.
• Provides crisis management services, including home visits, and regularly participates in IEP meetings, case conferences, and parent-teacher conferences to assess family needs and conduct follow-ups.
• Maintains professional relationships with outside agencies, advocates for students and families with community-based organizations and governmental agencies, and assists with financial questions and applications for services and grants.
