Job Summary

  • As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be expected to contribute independently to tasks, demonstrating familiarity with the subject matter and producing deliverables with guidance from senior team members.
  • You will be responsible for the effective management of all phases of smaller/less complex projects from initial establishment to handover and project closure, under the guidance of a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager.
  • The role requires coordinating thought and leadership skills to encourage maximum contributions of all participants in the project and focus these to maximise outcomes for all stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • degree in Project or Construction Management
  • three years' experience
  • eight years' experience
  • three years related to Design, Construction, or Project Management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Microsoft Project experience
  • experience managing cost reporting systems
  • understand legal environment for projects
  • assist in commercial negotiations
  • understand ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO9001
  • understand Environmental Health and Safety legislation
  • assess clients' basic needs
  • assist in commercial assessment of new projects
  • detailed understanding of different delivery methods
