Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to oversee Adoption Services, NC’s adoption assistance and guardianship services including contract management and monitoring, adoption review and indexing, Special Children Adoption Incentive Fund (SCAIF), post adoption services for the Child Welfare Section.
This position is responsible for exploring, installing, monitoring, and implementing the adoption programs and services using implementation science and to oversee dissemination of child welfare policy and practice guidance in accordance with state and federal law and rules.
The Adoption Services Manager is a key leadership position within the Permanency Planning Section that provides vision and leadership for the section’s social services goals.
