Job Summary

  • This position is responsible for providing support to all injection molding operations, reducing scrap and set-up times, optimizing cycle times, and performing validations related to materials, presses, and molds as necessary, with a sharp focus on continuous improvement.
  • Establish a robust process window for all injection molding components using Scientific Molding techniques along with Design for Experiments (DOE’s) and improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements and utilization, and equipment layout.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in injection molding
  • knowledge of injection molding presses, molds, and related equipment
  • experience designing manufacturing processes
  • experience developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods
  • experience with common molding grade plastics
  • RJG Master Molder Certification or equivalent preferred
  • Prior EOAT, six axis robot and programming experience preferred
