Job Summary
The Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) is responsible for managing and enforcing the Contractor’s safety program, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and requirements as outlined in EM 385-1-1 Section 1 and 29 CFR 1926.16.
Key responsibilities include serving as the onsite Site Safety and Health Officer to implement and administer the Contractor’s safety program and the approved Accident Prevention Plan (APP), and being physically onsite at all times when work is being performed.

Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience preparing and enforcing safety programs
OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety course completion
24 hours formal safety and health training every four years
CSP credential or safety and health degree (preferred)
