Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician is responsible for assisting in direct patient care specific to the unit assigned; assisting with patient transfers and repositioning, transporting of patients, supplies, or specimens; and any other duties as deemed necessary to ensure optimal patient care and physician service, under the direction and supervision of the professional nurse.
We care for adult patients who are being treated for a variety of medical diagnoses, including telemetry, peritoneal dialysis, heart caths, cardioversions, and pacemakers.
