  • The APP (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) functions as an integral part of the healthcare team.
  • Serves various roles, including working directly alongside faculty and staff, providing care to the entire spectrum of patient acuity levels, working semi-autonomously and serving as a provider to initiate appropriate care, including laboratory studies and/or imaging as indicated, at the front end of a patient's visit.
