Job Summary

  • The Chair is responsible for overseeing strategy, finance, and operations of the Department, providing Academic and Clinical leadership in the development of clinical centers of excellence, inspiring and guiding groundbreaking clinical, translational and basic research.
  • The Department has an active outpatient clinic and faculty provide inpatient Psychiatry care at multiple hospitals, with programs in memory disorders, geropsychiatry, women's mental health, psycho-oncology, telepsychiatry and addictions.
  • Candidates will have an M.D. or M.D/Ph.D. degree, a record of clinical leadership, educational excellence, research discovery, and scholarship meriting appointment at the rank of Professor with tenure, and be board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
