Job Summary
The staff speech pathologists will provide in-patient and/or out-patient services focusing on functional skills to enhance development and restore function for children.
Evaluation, treatment, and home programming are provided for children with feeding disorders, articulation issues, voice disorders, and receptive/expressive language disorders.
The position includes patient and caregiver education as well as consultation to other professionals within the Cook Childrens Health Care System and the community.

Must-have
Pediatric speech and language pathology
Feeding and swallowing disorder treatment
Aural rehabilitation and auditory verbal therapy
Patient and caregiver education
Interdisciplinary consultation skills
Nice-to-have
Experience with cochlear implant evaluation
Augmentative communication device expertise
Community agency collaboration experience
Strong documentation and correspondence skills
Key Requirements
Masters degree in speech/language pathology
State license or eligible for state licensure
Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) or eligible
