Job Summary

  • The staff speech pathologists will provide in-patient and/or out-patient services focusing on functional skills to enhance development and restore function for children.
  • Evaluation, treatment, and home programming are provided for children with feeding disorders, articulation issues, voice disorders, and receptive/expressive language disorders.
  • The position includes patient and caregiver education as well as consultation to other professionals within the Cook Childrens Health Care System and the community.

Key Requirements

  • Masters degree in speech/language pathology
  • State license or eligible for state licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) or eligible
  • BLS certification within 30 days of employment
  • Obtain CCC within 12 months of hire if eligible
