The Director of Staff Development is responsible to plan and implement facility orientation, job skills training, in-service education, and a Certification Training Program for nursing assistants.
The role involves coordinating and participating in recruiting and hiring, processing employment documentation, and coordinating payroll and employee benefit programs.
The Director of Staff Development also provides direct resident/patient care and supervises staff, including taking appropriate disciplinary measures.
