Job Summary
Provides professional advice and technical support on all Health, Safety, and Environmental matters to meet stringent internal policies, legal responsibilities, and best practices.
Bridges site-level technical execution with regional risk management, ensuring refinery operations comply with Process Safety Management (PSM) and environmental standards while promoting a "zero incident" culture.
Administers and monitors workers' compensation claims, acts as a liaison between healthcare resources, insurance carriers, and management, and ensures site environmental monitoring is consistent with applicable jurisdictional compliance requirements.

Key Requirements
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial or refinery area
Risk management and process safety experience
Education in Safety, Environmental Management, or Technology and/or equivalent experience
Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation or actively working toward
Valid driver’s license
Industrial, refinery, and emergency response experience
Experience with Canadian environmental compliance requirements
Experience with ISO 9001
Ability to utilize technology to streamline EHS processes
OFA Level 3 First Aid preferred
Ability to travel on occasion (including international US travel)
Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located
