Must-have

  • Expertise in disease and procedure classification systems
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Intermediate database logic design and programming skills
  • Outpatient facility coding experience
  • Knowledge of Evaluation and Management coding

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with multi-specialty EM coding
  • Background in Radiology, Surgery, Cardiology, or Pathology coding
  • BSIT, BSN, or RN degree qualifications
  • RHIT or RHIA certification
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse global teams

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma with 4 years Health Information Management experience
  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Coding Professional (CPC)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Thorough understanding of official coding guidelines and conventions
