The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is seeking a part-time adjunct professor for its Curriculum and Instruction department to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in teacher preparation programs. The ideal candidate should possess a Master's degree or higher in a relevant field, have experience in P–12 education or higher education, and demonstrate knowledge of evidence-based instructional practices

Job Summary

  • The Department of Curriculum and Instruction seeks qualified Part-Time Adjunct Professors to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in teacher preparation programs.
  • Adjunct faculty support high-quality instruction aligned with Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) requirements, Science of Reading, High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM), Teacher Preparation Initiative, U.S. (TPI-US), Deans for Impact, and CAEP accreditation standards.
  • Adjunct professors may teach up to four (4) courses per academic term, based on departmental needs, enrollment, and qualifications.
