Key Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Human Rights, Protection, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in GBV/CRSV programming
  • Experience in complex, conflict-affected contexts
  • Experience in Sudan or similar contexts strongly preferred
  • Proven experience providing strategic technical leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to design and lead adaptive programming
  • Strong experience integrating GBV risk mitigation
  • Proven track record in capacity strengthening, mentoring, and partnership management
  • Experience operationalizing localization approaches
  • Strong understanding and applied experience in accountability to affected populations (AAP)
  • Demonstrated expertise in safeguarding and protection risk management
  • Extensive experience engaging with humanitarian coordination mechanisms
  • Strong experience in advocacy, donor engagement, and external representation
  • Proven ability to lead programme quality assurance
  • Experience conducting/guiding protection/GBV assessments, analysis, and research
  • Demonstrated ability to work in highly insecure, fluid, and access-constrained environments
  • Strong knowledge of the Sudanese context
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and facilitation skills
  • Fluency in English required
  • Arabic strongly preferred
