Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this role is to supervise and maintain the safety, care, and control of juvenile detainees within the Juvenile Justice Department programs.
  • Employees are responsible for guiding delinquent participants toward positive behavior using approved therapeutic approaches while conducting physical fitness classes and close order drills.
  • The position requires the ability to physically restrain out-of-control juveniles and deal with emotionally disturbed individuals who may pose harm to themselves or others.
