Job Summary

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred counselling, brief interventions, and bio-psycho-social assessments for people who use alcohol and other drugs, and concerned others, via telephone, webchat and other contact centre modalities, as part of a rotating 24/7 roster (including nights, weekends and public holidays).
  • Provide health education, harm minimisation advice, and evidence-based support, including advocacy, negotiation or mediation on behalf of callers when required, and coordinate referrals to internal and external service providers to ensure continuity of care.
