Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Repair Design Engineer for its Cases & Composites Group, focusing on developing repairs for commercial gas turbine engine parts. Job Summary

  • The RDE is responsible for the development of repairs for commercial gas turbine engine parts, including development of the repair concept, writing of the repair, obtaining internal approvals, obtaining FAA regulatory approval, and coordination with the end user.
  • Participate in a multi-discipline team to establish repair design requirements and ensure repairs are safe, durable, and meet the quality requirements of the Original Engine Manufacturer (OEM) parts.
  • The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math and 8+ years of mechanical design, manufacturing engineering or prior relevant experience
  • Advanced degree and 5+ years of relevant experience
  • US Citizenship required
