Job Summary

  • Manages a comprehensive program for the safe, efficient and cost-effective disposal of all University hazardous waste, including training and supervising staff, and ensuring legal compliance.
  • Responsible for the department budget, preparing budget requests and monthly forecasts, and overseeing expenditures.
  • Provides professional expertise to the McGill research community and government agencies, and creates and maintains the Emergency Response Assistance Plan for transporting dangerous goods.
