Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
Perform administrative functions including directing staff, ensuring policy compliance, participating in quality assurance, and managing resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Administer medications, transcribe physician orders, complete charting and documentation, and provide professional nursing services including catheterization, wound care, and specimen collection.
