Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 3 to 5+ years in Real Estate Secured Lending
  • Solid understanding of mortgage underwriting fundamentals
  • Experience using secured-lending models like AVMs
  • Working knowledge of decision engines and analytical tools
  • Ability to analyze data and interpret risk indicators

Nice-to-have

  • Exposure to renewal processes and retention strategies
  • Experience with test-and-learn frameworks
  • Familiarity with MIS reporting and portfolio analytics
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills
  • Knowledge of Canadian regulatory frameworks

Key Requirements

  • 3 to 5+ years experience in Real Estate Secured Lending or mortgage credit strategy
  • Working knowledge of SAS, SQL, Python, FICO, or similar analytical tools
  • Understanding of secured-lending regulatory frameworks and model governance
