  • The solid tumor hematology oncology Physician Assistant provides comprehensive ambulatory care to one or more disease specific medical oncology patient populations.
  • The PA is responsible for the assessment and management of solid tumor medical oncology patients, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and development and implementation of appropriate plans of care across the trajectory of illness for patients.
  • In addition to providing direct and indirect patient care, the hematology oncology PA serves as a role model for professional advanced practice and participates in the professional development of the team through teaching, committee involvement or quality and safety initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ current PA experience
  • Master’s Degree Physician Assistant required
  • Physician Assistant [State License] required
  • Experience in breast, GI and thoracic malignancies strongly preferred
  • Experience in an ambulatory practice strongly preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience signing antineoplastic orders strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Epic and EMRs strongly preferred
