Job Summary

  • Operate CNC Lathe and/or Mill Machines to support manufacturing based on skillset and shop demand.
  • In addition to running machines, the Machinist will periodically inspect parts during production to monitor for consistent dimensional and visual quality.

  • Touch off tools and establish offsets
  • Monitor equipment and tooling
  • Maintain clean work area and follow safety regulations

Nice-to-have

  • Utilize pre-setter offline for tool offsets
  • Experience with quick-change tooling
  • Knowledge of 5S/6S

Key Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC Milling Centers
  • 2-axis and multi axis, live tooling lathes experience
  • Experience with FANUC, Yasnac, Mitsubishi, Brother, and Heidenhain controls
  • Ability to read Blueprints and have a good understanding of GD&T
  • Ability to work in a team environment
