Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this job is to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of nursing leadership and in accordance with established standards and facility policies.
  • Essential duties include accurately preparing, administering, and documenting medications, verifying resident identity, reporting errors and reactions, and maintaining resident confidentiality.
  • The role requires participation in quality assurance programs, cooperation with facility surveys, and attendance at continuing education programs to maintain certification.
