Job Summary

  • The analyst will join the North American Power and Renewables team, which conducts industry research and provides forecasts of electricity generation, capacity additions and market prices to a variety of clients.
  • Update and use power market simulation models and interface to address client questions, typically related to price forecasting, scenario and sensitivity analyses, risk assessment, portfolio valuation, and strategic assessments.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience of power modelling in North America (US and Canada)
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, statistics or industry-related field
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Aurora power modelling software (preferred)
