Job Summary

  • The Professional Development and AI Coordinator is responsible for leading the strategic implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) integration and professional learning across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels.
  • This role designs and delivers high-quality professional development aligned to instructional priorities while guiding the effective and responsible use of AI in teaching and learning.
  • The mission of North Carolina Virtual Academy (NCVA) is to provide an exemplary individualized and engaging educational experience for students by incorporating school and community/family partnerships coupled with a rigorous curriculum along with a data-driven and student-centered instructional model.

Key Requirements

  • North Carolina Teaching Certification Required
  • Must reside in North Carolina
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Technology, or related field
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in K–12 instruction, instructional coaching, or professional development
  • Experience designing and delivering professional learning for educators
  • Demonstrated experience integrating technology into instruction
