The Mail & Shipping Assistant assists in the operations of a centralized mailing & shipping service center, logging and distribution of all express packages, and assisting with M&R as needed.
Responsibilities include operating postage meter and shipping scale, weighing letters and parcels for postage, and assuring the lowest possible rate of shipping/mailing is used.
This position requires the ability to transport mail and express packages requiring special handling with a quick and punctual turnaround, and may involve operating a forklift to transport packages and lifting 50lbs or more.
