Manulife is seeking a Senior Information Risk Management Specialist to provide oversight and support for technology, data, and operational risks. The ideal candidate will have 2-4+ years of experience in information risk management and a strong analytical background, with a focus on risk assessments and stakeholder collaboration

Job Summary

  • This role provides analytical, operational, and governance support to ensure that technology and data risks are managed in alignment with Manulife’s risk appetite and regulatory expectations.
  • The Analyst will support second-line oversight activities across multiple disciplines, including Key Responsibilities: Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), Third-Party / Vendor Technology Risk, Initiative & Change Risk, Reportable Events & Incident Analysis, Issue Management, BCM, DR, and Critical Operations Assessments.

Key Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of experience in Information Risk, Technology Risk, Operational Risk, Cybersecurity, Compliance, or related fields
  • Foundational understanding of risk management practices
  • Ability to analyze technical and operational data
  • Experience with or interest in learning automation tooling, Generative AI, and Agentic AI
  • Familiarity with GRC platforms is an asset
  • Knowledge of control frameworks is beneficial
  • Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills
