Job Summary

  • The position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Arkansas Digital Newspaper Project to digitize over 100,000 pages of historic newspapers for the Library of Congress Chronicling America site.
  • This temporary full-time position funded by a National Endowment for the Humanities grant will end in December 2027 and requires oversight of metadata collection and quality review of digital assets.
  • Candidates must possess excellent organizational skills, knowledge of archival best practices, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with vendors and collaborating institutions.
