Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to support the Nursing Department by performing a variety of essential support functions for residents and staff.
Employees must maintain orderly and clean resident rooms, common areas, and equipment while strictly following policies concerning exposure to blood and body fluids.
Staff are required to report all changes in resident condition, accidents, and safety violations immediately to the Nurse Supervisor or Charge Nurse.

Must-have
Report accidents and incidents to charge nurse
Maintain clean resident rooms and common areas
Transport residents to meals and activities
Follow bloodborne pathogens and OSHA policies
Identify residents using wristbands or photo cards
Pass snacks and trays without feeding residents
Monitor room temperature and ventilation conditions
Nice-to-have
Create atmosphere of warmth and positive emphasis
Treat residents with dignity and respect
Cooperate with inter-departmental personnel
Assist with secretarial tasks at nursing station
Participate in scheduled training programs
Key Requirements
Minimum 8th grade education
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products
Ability to read and interpret technical procedures
