The Arkansas Archeological Survey is seeking a temporary Lab Technician to assist with processing collections of artifacts, including tasks like counting, weighing, labeling, and database entry. Job Summary
The Arkansas Archeological Survey's mission is to study and protect archeological sites in Arkansas, preserve and manage information and collections, and communicate findings to the public.
The Lab Technician performs duties in regards to processing collections which includes but is not limited to: counting, weighing, labeling, and boxing of artifacts.
Essential job duties include occasional lifting up to 40 lbs, ability to use a tablet for online data entry, and bringing older collections up to newest archival standards.
